Tofino has a population of about 1300 people. Situated on the edge of Clayoquot Sound, the surrounding area has recently been designated BC's first United Nations Biosphere Reserve. Be sure to get out in Clayoquot Sound as part of a nature cruise, whale watching or kayaking trip. Relax and explore the many beaches in the area, or shop for gifts and souveniers in Tofino's many stores and galleries.

How To Get To Tofino:

By Bus:
Bus Service from Vancouver and from cities on the island is available on Greyhound Non-Ucluelet.Net link (Note: Enter 'Port Alberni' as a destination on the Greyhound website, they do travel to Ucluelet/Tofino, but their website doesn't).
By Car:
If you are travelling by car, Tofino is about a 3 hours drive from Nanaimo and about a 5 hours drive from Victoria.
